Prescription medications are now free for everyone under the age of 25 in Ontario. As of January 1, the province has made the biggest expansion to medicare in Ontario in a generation, providing drug coverage to over four million children and youth across the province.

Federation of Chinese Canadians in Markham (FCCM) and its Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Markham (CCCM) will be hosting a Business Forum and Networking Lunch on Friday, December 8, 2017 from 12pm to 2pm.

Taste of Asia is an street festival organized by the FCCM. Noted as Canada’s Largest Asian Festival, it expects over 180,000 visitors annually and takes place on Kennedy Road from Steeles Ave E to Clayton Drive.
TD Taste of Asia Festival 2018 is expected to take place on June 23rd & June 24th , 2018 (Saturday 11am – 11pm, Sunday 10am – 5pm).

October 08, 2017—Markham—The much anticipated TD/FCCM Mid-Autumn Thanksgiving Celebration at Pacific Mall has put on an fantastic Carnival, entertainment and activities.
The celebration featured a spectacular performance show including singing, Chinese ribbon dancing, fire guy show, amazing magic acts, Turkey giveaways and fun filled entertainment that had audiences and special guests entertained.
Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, sent his warmest Thanksgiving and Mid-Autumn greeting to FCCM and Markham via Mary Ng, M.P. Markham-Thornhill. Richmond Hill MP, Majid Jowhari gave his greeting and presented the Prime Minister’s greeting to Dr. Ken Ng on Pacific Mall stage during TD/FCCM Mid-Autumn Thanksgiving Celebration on October 8,2017.
We, at the Federation of Chinese Canadians in Markham and the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Markham are really disappointed and disturbed to see such a racially profiled game appearing in the market of video games which can affect so many people, especially our next generation.
