The Federation of Chinese Canadians in Markham (FCCM) and Canadian intercultural Association for Community Development (CIA) cordially invite you and your guests to celebrate the upcoming Diwali Holiday with the community of Markham at Chauhan’s Fine Indian Cuisine & Banquet on the October 16th, 2022

The upcoming community celebration of the Diwali Holiday will be a significant milestone in the Markham Community as we celebrate the diverse cultures of Markham. Diwali is widely praised in India, with these five auspicious days following one another in a row, each having its values and ideals. It’s a five-day celebration with good food, fireworks, colored sand, and special candles and lamps.

Thanks to the support of Mayor Frank Scarpitti and Councillor Khalid Usman, this community is sure to bring lots of activities for the community to enjoy pre-pandemic life and support youths in the community. Both FCCM and its partners share hopes to unite our community through community events where our community to experience the diverse cultures of Canada.
