To usher in the auspicious Year of the Dragon, the Federation of Chinese Canadians in Markham, sponsored by TD Canada Trust, hosted three Lunar New Year celebrations: at its Cultural Centre, Markham Civic Centre, and Vaughan. These events honored the historical and cultural heritage of Chinese traditions spanning thousands of years. The festivities included lion and dragon dances, as well as performances of traditional Chinese festive music. Dignitaries, business leaders, and community members came together to wish for good fortune, health, peace, and prosperity in the New Year.

踏入龙年，万象更新！TD银行支持赞助，万锦加华联会分别在联会中心、万锦市、旺市三地组织举办了农历新年迎春贺岁活动，传承这中华民族数千年的历史文化。贺岁当天，龙腾狮跃，锣鼓喧天，社区民众、政商各界人士，欢聚一堂，祈福祝愿：

   “来年好运吉祥，风调雨顺，国泰民安，家庭幸福安康，财源广进！”
