The official opening of the FCCM Markham Cultural Centre marks a great milestone in the Markham Community as we celebrate the diverse cultures of Markham. This month is the Mid-Autumn festival, a reminder for all Chinese Canadians to come together to celebrate reunions. With the recent lockdowns in the past two years, the need for reconnection within the community stays relevant and is a looming weight upon many households; the event calls for a return to normalcy looking into the future.

Thanks to the mayor’s support, the opening of this Centre is sure to bring lots of activities for the community to enjoy pre-pandemic life and support youths in the community. Both FCCM and partners share hopes to resume extracurriculars and sports to their original glory by offering a place to arouse healthy minds, active bodies, and engaging experiences through interest classes. The goal of our center is to provide service to the community.
