Federation of Chinese Canadians in York Region, partnered with Consulate General of PRC in Toronto, organized another year’s of successful Chinese Flag Raising ceremony in York Region on China’s national day, 10 am in Richmond Hill, 1pm in Markham and 3pm in Vaughan on Sunday October 1,2017.
Federation of Chinese Canadians in York Region (FCCYR) celebrated post Taste of Asia success by hosting a fun summer picnic day at Thornhill’s Saddlecreek Park (insert address). We welcomed everyone to attend free of admission and had a huge turn-out!
FCCYR will be hosting a summer fun day at Saddle Creek Park (on HWY 7 & Leslie area) on July 30, 2017 from 11:30AM-1:00PM! It is a pleasure for us to invite members of the community to come and join in on the fun!
MARKHAM- June 26, 2017- The Federation of Chinese Canadians in Markham celebrated the annual 15th TD Taste of Asia Festival which took place on Kennedy Rd. between Steeles Ave. and Clayton Drive. It was three great days of multicultural foods and performances on June 23, 24 and 25 2017.
OTTAWA, May 31st, 2017– The National launch of the 15th annual TD Taste of Asia Festival was held on Parliament Hill on Wednesday May 31st, 2017 as a special reception in light of Asian Heritage Month.
Members of Parliament and Senators from across Canada joined committee members in celebrating Canadian diversity at this special reception on Parliament Hill.
April 28, 2017 Markham— the launch of the much anticipated annual festival—TD Taste of Asia 2017 was formally announced by Chairman Dr. Ken Ng of the Federation of Chinese Canadians in Markham (FCCM), Mayor Frank Scarpitti, Hon. Minister Michael Chan, together with presenting sponsor TD, at the media conference held today at the Markham Civic Centre.

February 5th, 2017 – Newmarket – To conclude with this year’s Chinese New Year celebrations, TD-FCCM and Keller Williams Realty Centres’ sales representative, Wasim Jarrah hosted their first celebratory festival at Newmarket Old Town Hall.
In celebration of the Year of the Rooster, the spectacular occasion featured a number of activities and displays for old and young alike to enjoy.
February 1st, 2017- On behalf of the Federation of Chinese Canadians in Markham (FCCM), the Canadian Federation of Intercutural Friendship (CFIF), and Taste of Asia (TOA) Festival, Dr. Ken Ng is deeply saddened and is horrified by the terrorist shooting and massacre at the Sainte-Foy Mosque Centre Culturel Islamique de Québec in Québec City, which left six people dead and another 19 injured.
